Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei honored on Wednesday the graduates of leather handicrafts.
During the ceremony, attended by Undersecretary Fahd Nizar, Executive Director of the Cultural Heritage and Development Fund, Ibrahim Al Moshki, representative of the Public Authority for Small and Micro Enterprises Development, Mohammed Tabqa, the Minister of Culture and Tourism praised the outputs of the training courses.
He stressed the ministry's keenness to raise community awareness of production to push families towards production, achieve self-sufficiency in various fields, utilize young creative energies, and employ them in achieving real development for the country in the future.
In addition, Minister Al-Yafei toured the wings of the leather crafts exhibition, which included belts, wallets, shanat, crooks, jackets and others. He emphasized the continued support for these projects and their outputs because of their importance in terms of achieving comprehensive development.
