The Pakistani army announced the killing of at least 13 militants during a security operation in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northern Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan.
The media department of the Pakistani army reported in a statement last night that security forces launched a security raid based on intelligence information indicating the presence of militants in the Sararogha area.
It pointed out that the security forces killed 13 militants who were confirmed to have been carrying out terrorist activities targeting its forces and civilians, and launched an operation to clear the area of armed hotbeds.
It is noteworthy that the Pakistani army announced the killing of 16 soldiers in an attack carried out by militants on a security checkpoint in the same province last Saturday.
