The storming of the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by the terrorist minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, this morning is a serious violation that reflects the escalation of the far-right occupying government against Al-Aqsa and its Arab and Islamic identity and its criminal steps aimed to Judaize the Mosque and tighten control over it, the Islamic Resistance Movement said on Thursday.
What the fascist occupier is doing by giving its extremist ministers free rein to implement their malicious plans in Quds and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, desecrating it, storming it, and carrying out provocative tours in it on a daily basis, is a policy that adds more oil to the fire, and will only find more resistance from our people to protect our sanctities, Hamas added in a press statement.
The Movement called on people in the West Bank, Quds, and the occupied interior to mobilize and rally in Al-Aqsa, to defend its courtyards, and to confront the occupation's plans.
It also called on the valiant resistance and the revolutionary youth in the occupied West Bank to escalate their clashes with the criminal enemy and its settler gangs.
Hamas also called on the Arab and Islamic nation, including governments, peoples, and organizations, headed by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to stand up to their responsibilities and take a firm stance towards the occupation's incursions and blatant attacks on the first of the two Qiblahs and the third of the two Holy Mosques, and to work by all means to stop this brutal aggression against our Palestinian people and to protect our Islamic and Christian sanctities, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
