The Chinese Foreign Ministry imposed sanctions on seven US military industrial companies on Friday for selling weapons to Taiwan.
The ministry said in a statement: "This grossly violates the 'one-China' principle and the three Sino-US joint communiques, seriously interferes in China's internal affairs, and harms China's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
