I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
At the beginning of this speech, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and blessings to our dear Yemeni Muslim people on the occasion of Rajab Friday, the first Friday of the month of Rajab. This is a blessed occasion for our dear Yemeni Muslim people, marking an everlasting historical milestone in our dear people's history. It is also a shining and illustrious chapter in its glorious history.
I will talk about recent developments concerning the criminal and brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the events linked to it.
The Israeli enemy continues its acts of mass extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, persisting for fifteen months. For 65 weeks, the enemy continues daily massacres, which have now surpassed 4,000. This week, the Israeli enemy committed more than 20 massacres, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of over 900 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women.
Among the enemy's most noteworthy crimes this week was the burning and destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital, rendering its medical services entirely inoperative. The enemy invaded the hospital (targeting patients, injured individuals, and healthcare staff) and attacked them in various means, including killing, assaulting, and other violations. It forcibly took the victims to unknown locations after stripping them of their clothing. It even attacked nurses in ways that violated their dignity, assaulting them and physically hitting them.
The Israeli enemy brazenly and shamelessly set the hospital on fire in a blatant crime, completely shutting down its medical services. Prior to this—over weeks—the hospital had been subjected to an ongoing blockade by the Israeli enemy, who prevented the delivery of medical supplies and medicines, repeatedly bombed it with various weapons (including drones), and destroyed its surroundings with explosive robots. The enemy committed atrocious crimes during all these phases and during the hospital's incursion.
In fact, the Israeli enemy continues to commit such crimes openly before the very eyes of the world. The primary targets of its aggression and destruction are hospitals, as well as the Palestinian people in displacement camps, residential buildings, cities, and everywhere.
It also continues killing the Palestinian people in displacement camps, residential buildings, streets, roads, schools, and everywhere. The enemy continues its acts of killing against groups and individuals, and it continues to carry out starvation: using the method of starvation as a means of genocide. It seeks to prevent food from reaching the Palestinian people, allowing only minimal quantities to enter, much of which does not contain essential food items that are necessary for survival. Instead, they consist of canned goods that are non-essential or luxurious, and some of them are expired and spoiled. Even after these scarce supplies arrive, the Palestinian people face targeted attacks while gathering to access them. Furthermore, criminal gangs of collaborators and traitors are deployed to loot portions of these supplies. Thus, the challenges the residents face in the Gaza Strip over the very limited aid that occasionally enters are numerous.
The suffering of displaced individuals has also worsened with the intense cold and rainfall in their worn-out tents, many of which are located in areas where flood flows and gathers. The Israeli enemy deliberately designates these as 'safe zones', exposing the displaced to flood damage on the one hand, and exposing some to harm from proximity to the sea on the other hand. The bitter cold (combined with the severe scarcity of clothing and the lack of necessary means for heating, which the displaced individuals face as severe suffering) has led to the death of many children (including newborns who died shortly after birth) due to extreme cold. These newborns who died as a result of that faced suffering from the very moment they were born, enduring all forms of hardship.
Moreover, there is the immense suffering of captives and detainees, who endure severe torture, medical neglect, harassment, and various forms of oppression. This week, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Club announced the martyrdom of five prisoners from Gaza. This figure adds to the previous numbers from previous periods.
This is regarding the Gaza Strip. Along with what the enemy does there, it continues to destroy what remains of residential buildings in the northern Gaza Strip, persistently pursuing forced displacement to empty the northern Gaza Strip of its remaining people.
Regarding the incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the desecration of its courtyards, the Zionist Jewish enemies continue these actions, almost on a weekly basis. Some of their high-ranking criminals participate in these incursions, during which they defile the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform their superstitious, offensive rituals, including dancing and chants filled with blasphemy and offence. In that place, they also issue threats to the people of the Islamic Ummah and the Palestinian people.
As for the West Bank, the Israeli enemy continues all its assaults there, including acts of killing, abduction, vandalism, and land bulldozing.
Unfortunately, along with all of this, the campaign referred to as the 'security campaign' continues. It is a campaign of fear and oppression carried out by the Palestinian Authority. It has lasted over two weeks and included killings and blockade. What is particularly saddening is the involvement of the Palestinian Authority in the shedding of Palestinian blood and in turning the conflict in the West Bank to be between the Palestinians themselves. This is a tragedy that our Ummah as a whole suffers from: Some individuals from this Ummah align themselves to become fighters for the Israeli enemy and to serve it.
The Palestinian Authority should have mobilised its security apparatus to protect the Palestinian people in the West Bank, at least from the attacks of the usurping herds referred to as 'settlers', along with their numerous crimes and assaults. What benefit does the Palestinian Authority gain from operations that serve the Israeli enemy and have no positive impact for the Palestinian people at all? Does the Palestinian Authority believe that such assaults and the provocation of internal problems within the Palestinian community will somehow serve the Palestinian cause to achieve peace through negotiations and political deals (which represent an illusory path, where all their hopes are mere mirages)? This is a great delusion. Due to all that has been happening, the Palestinian Authority should have learned the lesson well and understood the Israeli enemy correctly. Indeed, the Israeli enemy is very clear in its refusal to allow the establishment of a Palestinian country. This has been explicitly decided in the Knesset. High-ranking criminals in the Zionist entity have spoken about this repeatedly and have confirmed it. In addition, the practical steps taken by the Israeli enemy attest to its true orientations that include the ongoing expansion of usurping and confiscating Palestinian lands in the West Bank under the well-known banner of 'settlement and settlements'. It continues to encroach on more and more lands in the West Bank in order to establish settlement outposts, for which it usurps a lot of lands there. It expands this activity, confiscating a significant portion of the West Bank with each activity they do and each settlement outpost they establish.
When we consider the historical context to draw lessons and insights, the Israeli enemy has been committing atrocities of all kinds since the beginning, for more than seven decades—specifically, seventy-six years, since the declaration of the so-called Israel, the Zionist Jewish Satanic plant that occupies the Arab land of Palestine, is a cancerous entity, and commits various kinds of crimes. Since the onset of Zionist aggression and Israeli occupation, there have been brutal killing, acts of genocide, forced displacement of millions of Palestinians (the rightful owners of the land), land usurpation and occupation, abduction, detention, torture of the worst kinds, starvation, destruction of villages, and demolition of homes. They even happened before that, during the time of the British occupation. Thus, for more than a century, the Palestinian people have been suffering from the occupation of their land, the confiscation of their freedom and independence, and all the unjust, criminal practices carried out first by Britain and then by its criminal successors, the Zionist Jews.
All forms of crime have been perpetrated against the oppressed Palestinian people, who are deprived of even their most basic human rights, guaranteed by all covenants and laws. Throughout all these time periods, has there been a viable option for negotiations or a political path? Has any international institution or organisation shown compassion for the Palestinian people and taken a serious and effective direction to achieve results in favour of the Palestinian people and restore their rights? There has been nothing of the sort.
If the bet is on the Security Council, it has held many meetings. Hundreds of meetings have been held throughout the history of the Palestinian issue, yet they have yielded no fruit or benefit. During the aggression on Gaza, more than fifty meetings have been held, but without any results.
America has a fundamental role in thwarting, cancelling, and blocking any resolution, even though it is only in its draft form and does not reach the implementation stage. Moreover, when it comes to a resolution being adopted in the Security Council, America intervenes and employs the veto power, as it is called. During the recent Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, America has used this veto four times against resolutions aimed at stopping the Israeli aggression against the strip. Additionally, America has used the veto once to oppose granting Palestine full membership in the United Nations.
The Security Council has not upheld the rights of Arabs and Palestinians in their conflict with the Israeli enemy throughout this historical period. More than ninety resolutions have been issued by the United Nations, yet none of these resolutions has ever been effective or beneficial to the Palestinian cause, although it is clear, just, and rightful for a people who have been wronged and violated for a century. These resolutions have not restored any of the Palestinians' legal and human rights in their land, nor have they protected their lives. America has stood as a significant obstacle, working to obstruct and change any role for the United Nations in favour of the Palestinian cause. It has exercised its veto power nearly forty-eight times against resolutions condemning the Israeli enemy.
In the year 1973, America obstructed the first resolution that strongly condemned the continued Israeli occupation of the Arab lands seized in 1967. In fact, it has continued this behaviour and approach: hindering any resolution aimed at establishing a ceasefire and facilitating immediate access to essential services and humanitarian aid in Gaza.
What are some within the Palestinian Authority betting on when they take such a negative and hostile position against any resistance or jihad against the Israeli enemy? Are they waiting for Trump? What does Trump want? The Israelis rely on him to finalise adding the West Bank or even a significant part of it to the territory they occupy, and they openly discuss this. Trump has downplayed the geographic area occupied by the Israeli enemy and has stated from the outset that he wants to expand it. This means he aims to expand the Israeli occupation and confiscate Palestinian and Arab lands. This is what is happening. There is no prospect for a political path or a path disguised as peace under the American role, the United Nations, or the Security Council. Any hope that does not involve resistance does not appear to be realistic at all. The Israeli ambitions are vast and extend to other Arab countries.
That is in regard to the Israeli aggression against Palestine. Therefore, there should be serious efforts to stop the assaults of the Palestinian Authority on the Palestinian people in the West Bank, to reprimand it for this deviation regarding supporting the Israeli enemy and fighting alongside it, and to remind it of all the significant concessions it has made in the past without achieving any results. Indeed, performing jihad in the path of Allah, confronting the Israeli enemy, and resisting it are what really remain, have their own horizons and fruits, and are a legitimate right. They are really a legitimate right. How can it be said that those who confront the Israeli enemy are outside the law?!
Regarding Lebanon, the Israeli enemy continues its violations and assaults, which underscores the necessity of resistance. In fact, the Israeli enemy is advancing into villages that it could not reach during confrontations, showing no regard for the Lebanese army, the agreement, or the committee overseeing the implementation of the agreement. Therefore, the aggressive actions it is taking (such as the destruction and demolition of villages and homes, the bulldozing of farms, and the destruction of roads in a despicable way) demonstrate the level of malevolence and depravity the Israeli enemy harbours. This enemy does not fight honourably; it engages in vile aggressive acts and persists in its rampage and tyranny.
In Syria, the Israeli enemy continues its assaults, which include airstrikes, and has begun to target Syrian citizens (the residents), as seen in some of the strikes aimed at civilians. The previous phases focused on all of Syria's military capabilities. Now, after completely destroying and eliminating those military capabilities, the enemy has started to direct its airstrikes towards even the Syrian people.
Furthermore, the Israeli enemy continues to encroach on lands, to commit crimes against the citizens, and to expel any government employees present in certain cities and regions. It is attempting to strengthen its control and grip over the territories it has occupied and controlled. In these areas it has controlled, it treats the Syrian people with contempt; for instance, it searches even the bakeries. The Israeli enemy shuts bakeries down and searches them under the pretext of looking for weapons. It aims to completely disarm the Syrian people (even from personal weapons), ensuring that they possess no weapons at all. It persists in its mistreatment, humiliation, and imposition of restrictions on the movement of the Syrian people from their homes and villages, among other oppressive practices.
In this regard, there was an announcement from one of the criminals, a senior figure among the criminals referred to as 'minister'. This was the so-called 'Israeli Communications Minister', who expressed and spoke about Israeli ambitions that are fundamentally part of the Zionist project. He stated, 'the future of the gates of Jerusalem that illuminate our path is to reach the gates of Damascus.' These words of his are indeed serious. That is, they express ambitions, orientations, and a Zionist project that the Israelis are working on and preparing conditions for from various angles. They know how to operate in the Arab reality, how to dismantle nations, how to push the people of our countries and our Ummah into conflicts under various banners, and ultimately, how to exploit all the outcomes.
In the face of all this Israeli, Jewish, Zionist arrogance and tyranny, we find that Palestinian resilience is the position that represents the right position and the correct, legitimate direction in terms of religious consideration, human consideration, legal consideration, and any other consideration. It embodies Islamic and human morals and values.
The Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin in the Gaza Strip continue to demonstrate resilience and confront the Israeli enemy. This week, the Al-Qassam Brigades carried out fourteen diverse operations: five operations targeting the enemy's vehicles, five operations targeting its infantry and fortified forces, one sniper operation, an operation targeting an Apache helicopter, and two operations storming military sites.
These are powerful, bold, self-sacrificing, heroic, and jihadist operations carried out despite the severe blockade and immense suffering that the Palestinian people and the mujahidin there endure.
Additionally, the Al-Quds Brigades carried out several operations, most notably through rocket fire, including strikes directed at occupied Jaffa, strikes targeting areas within the usurped lands surrounding Al-Quds city, and strikes aimed at the so-called Gaza Envelope.
The rocket bombardment after fifteen months of Israeli aggression, from the completely devastated northern Gaza Strip—an area repeatedly invaded and overrun by the Israeli enemy—delivers a very powerful and significant message. It symbolises the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin. It also stands as clear evidence of the extent of the cohesion, determination, and unwavering spirit of the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip. Indeed, it is a compelling response to all those who hold differing perspectives and theories and criticise the Palestinian people. Arabs have not taken any serious steps to support this resilient, steadfast model in the Gaza Strip, not even at the minimum. On the contrary, many Arab regimes have designated these mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip as terrorists, which is disappointing—deeply disappointing! Instead of providing support, Arab regimes resort to designating them, while failing to designate the Israeli enemy as terrorist, despite its unmatched crimes, utter disregard for human life, and immense hostility towards all Arabs and Muslims in general.
This rocket bombardment carries a profoundly important message and is clear evidence of the Israeli enemy's failure. This is a critical matter and represents a real and tangible achievement for the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, other effective, impactful, and significant operations are being carried out by various resistance factions in the Gaza Strip.
As for solidarity with the Palestinian people through demonstrations (which represent the minimum effort that certain nations, countries, and entities can undertake so as to have a voice that shows solidarity with and support for the Palestinian people, to empathise with their terrible oppression and suffering, and to condemn the Israeli aggression and all that is pertinent to its continuation, including the support and partnership of America, the complicity of some countries and regimes, and the passivity of the majority of the Islamic world), a large demonstration took place in Pakistan; multiple demonstrations and activities were held in Morocco; a massive march took place in Mauritania's capital with thousands of Mauritanians participating in it; a demonstration was held in Turkey outside the Israeli enemy's consulate; huge demonstrations were held in Jordan in solidarity with the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples; and there were demonstrations occurring in non-Muslim countries, such as Britain, Finland, Ireland, America (despite repression), Belgium, France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Canada, Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, and Australia.
However, even in western societies, there is little acknowledgement or respect for the humanitarian voices standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and constantly condemning the Israeli aggression. Over all these fifteen months, western regimes have turned a deaf ear to these humanitarian calls.
In addition, in this context of support and solidarity with the Palestinian people comes the anniversary of the martyrdom of Haj Qasem Soleimani and Haj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis (May Allah's mercy shower them). Haj Qasem Soleimani played a pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian people and standing by the mujahidin in Palestine throughout a highly significant period. Since the establishment of some Islamic jihadist movements in the Gaza Strip and Palestine, there have been substantial cooperation and deep interest within the honourable role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in backing the Palestinian people, supporting them, standing by their side, and embracing their cause. This is fundamentally an Islamic cause that concerns the entire Islamic Ummah: All Muslims in their various countries (in the Arab region and beyond) bear a religious, human, and moral responsibility towards this cause, which is a shared concern for all.
Some show concern; then they are blamed and held accountable for every positive position they take, and they are mistreated. Others abandon, neglect, or even collude with the enemies (adopting their logic, orientations, and positions), and then they attempt to present themselves as the representatives of the Islamic and Arab position. This is truly unfortunate!
The Islamic Republic of Iran faces intense hostility from the Israeli enemy. Why is that? That is not only because it is part of the Ummah that the Israeli enemy opposes and targets, but also because of Iran's significant contribution to supporting the Palestinian cause, standing by the mujahidin in Palestine and Lebanon, backing other fronts of support, and providing services for Arab and Islamic peoples amid this conflict and within the framework of this position.
Haj Qasem Soleimani (May Allah's mercy shower him) played a pivotal role until his martyrdom, which is why he was targeted by the Americans. In fact, the Americans saw him as a major obstacle to the success of their many conspiracies—those aimed at entirely eliminating the Palestinian cause and others targeting the peoples of the region. Therefore, the martyrs Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis (May Allah's mercy shower them) are credited with their exceptional and great roles in countering the American and Israeli conspiracies, including those targeting Iraq and its people. The Iraqi government and the Iraqi people still bear a responsibility to take a strong position against this American crime of targeting them on Iraqi land, thereby violating Iraq's sovereignty, as part of American efforts to tighten control over Iraq by all means.
Regarding Yemen's support (which has been comprehensive in backing the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad and during the fifth phase of escalation), this week witnessed numerous operations. These operations include strikes using 'Palestine-2' hypersonic missiles and the 'Zulfiqar' ballistic missile that targeted occupied Jaffa, Ben Gurion Airport, the Nevatim Airbase in the Negev Desert, and one of the enemy's power stations south of occupied Al-Quds, among other locations. Drone operations were also conducted, and a naval operation targeted a cargo ship that violated the blockade on the Israeli enemy, using several drones in the eastern Arabian Sea. Additionally, a significant and powerful operation was launched this week, targeting the USS Harry S. Truman for the second time with eleven cruise missiles and drones. Just as last week, this coincided with American arrangements to launch a large-scale aggressive operation against our country, encompassing multiple governorates.
The operation was successful in thwarting the execution of the Americans' planned large-scale aggressive operation on the one hand, and in the fleeing of the aircraft carrier, along with its accompanying naval fleet, to the far northern reaches of the Red Sea, on the other.
This week, the operations were carried out with 22 ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles and drones. An air defence operation also took place this week, shooting down an American MQ-9 drone in Al-Bayda Governorate and another one in Marib Governorate. This brings the total number of this important, expensive type of American drones, which the Americans heavily rely upon for their reconnaissance and aggressive activities, to 14 during the support phase.
The operations that are carried out by our country, using missiles and drones to target the Israeli enemy, have demonstrated significant impact and great effectiveness (particularly in the past two weeks amidst the strong escalation). This comes within the framework of intense support for the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin in the Gaza Strip and at a time when the Israeli enemy hoped to make the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip face it all alone. However, it was astonished as Yemen intensified support operations for the Palestinian people. The impact and effectiveness of the Yemeni operations are evident to the Israeli enemy, whether through the statements of its criminals (officials, officers, commanders, and senior leaders) or through its media outlets, which describe and discuss these operations.
Regarding what they say about our country's operations, the Israelis say that the operations of Yemen send 'millions of Israelis scrambling out of their beds and into bunkers' every night. In fact, this is a serious problem for them. Indeed, they cannot sleep peacefully or calmly: Millions of Israelis flee from their beds to the shelters in their pyjamas in panic. This situation has persisted with the ongoing intensification of the operations. They are in a state of extreme fear, and some of them even perish as they rush towards the shelters. They also describe Yemen as a very complex adversary and not an ordinary one.
This is something very positive for us. It reflects that Yemen, both at the levels of the government and the people, is a cohesive, strong, steadfast, firm, and determined country. In fact, the reason behind the success of our country is the reliance on Allah, trust in Allah, and dependence on Allah, as well as its authentic faith-based belonging. We are greatly pleased that this is how the enemy views us. This is because it views most of this Ummah—the peoples and the governments—with contempt. It regards them as easy to crush, subjugate, defeat, and deceive. This is how it views them.
Also, among the statements that are mentioned in Israeli media about the Yemenis is that they say that the Yemenis pose a challenge they have never faced before—meaning they have never encountered such a challenge before—and they did not know how to handle them.
Actually, the Israelis were astonished by the level of strength demonstrated by our dear people and our country, at the levels of both the government and the people: the strength of our position, the steadfastness, the resilience, the boldness, and the courage. All of this, as I mentioned, stems from the faith-driven approach of our people, their trust in Allah, their reliance on Him, and their confidence that Allah (Glory be to Him) is with them. What does it mean that we are with Allah and Allah is with us? {'Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant. And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him'}[Az-Zumar 39:36].
They also say that no one in the Israeli security establishment is fooling himself into believing that the airstrikes on Yemen will deter 'the Houthis' and end the war of attrition they are waging against them. This refers to their aggression last week, on Thursday. They state that their aggression will not achieve anything, nor will it serve as a deterrent or as a form of pressure to stop us from our supportive position for the Palestinian people and their mujahidin. They also say that the Yemenis are not affected by the strikes and that nothing prevents them from continuing to fight against Israel.
In fact, this is a true and realistic matter, for we are neither affected by the strikes in a way that affects our position, nor is there anything that can stop us from continuing to fight against the Israeli enemy. The Israeli enemy commits the most horrific and dreadful crimes in the Gaza Strip, targeting our brothers, the Palestinian people, whom we consider as part of our Muslim Ummah. Indeed, we share in their pain, grief, and suffering. Many of our Yemeni people cry when they see the tragedy of the Palestinian people, the cries of children and women, and the tremendous suffering and tragedy that are unparalleled. The Yemenis are deeply hurt, and they express this sorrow through a sense of practical responsibility to adopt a serious, genuine, practical position in support of the Palestinian people.
The Israeli enemy realises that nothing will affect the Yemeni position, nor will anything push our dear people to retreat from their principled, humanitarian, moral, significant, honourable, and faith-based position, no matter how many attacks it carries out or whatever it does (along with America, Britain and whoever join them).
They also say, 'The Houthis cannot be deterred.' This means they understand that their positions and their aggression against our people and our country will never represent any deterrent factor. A Zionist military expert also says that the Yemeni community is combative, armed, and extremely dangerous.
This description is important, and it is essential for our people to be as such. As we are in this era where weak and oppressed nations are being violated, what can protect them from the dangers posed by the Americans, the Israelis, or their allies? Can we rely on the United Nations or the Security Council? Actually, they have done nothing for the Palestinian people although they are oppressed, and the injustice practised against them is crystal clear. Instead, senior Zionist criminals mock the United Nations when it takes a position characterised by some degree of fairness towards the Palestinian people, describing what is happening to them as a crime against humanity, genocide, or anything of that sort. Also, if the United Nations issues a semblance of condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, senior Jewish Zionist criminals ridicule it, berate the UN Secretary-General, insult him, and threaten him. They kill UN personnel in the Gaza Strip with complete indifference and disregard. In addition, they mock the International Criminal Court and ridicule it because they know that none of its rulings will have any practical effect or response. This is because its decisions are not directed against any of the Arabs. If that were the case, it might have been effective, but when it comes to the Israelis, it has no impact. That is just how they are. There is nothing our Ummah's peoples—or any oppressed people in the world—can rely on except their own strength and power. They must Pursue to gain the elements of strength so as to be a strong people who defend themselves, protect their legitimate rights, and confront any aggression targeting them. That is what truly matters.
Thus, one of the blessings of Allah (Glory be to Him) upon our dear people is that they are strong people who possess weapons. Indeed, the Israeli enemy seeks to disarm the sons of our Ummah. After disarming them, what does it do? It exterminates them and kills them (the old and the young, especially children and women) in acts of genocide. It wants to possess every kind of weapon, from the smallest weapons to nuclear weapons. However, it seeks to make our Ummah and its peoples completely disarmed so that they cannot defend themselves at any level.
What is truly striking is that propaganda campaigns target any people who are armed, including our Yemeni people. Many campaigns portray weapon ownership among our people as a major negative trait, suggesting it is a sign of being uncivilised, along with other claims. However, when one observes the situation here and there and observes the actions and the reality of the Americans and Israelis, he finds that, for example in America, the right of citizens to own weapons is not merely protected by law but is enshrined as a constitutional right in the American constitution. Furthermore, they are among the nations with the highest levels of weapon ownership. As for America, it consistently strives to possess the most powerful weapons and remain militarily superior, while Israel seeks to achieve military supremacy in our region. Why is that? It is for perpetrating acts of killing, oppression, tyranny, and injustice, along with exterminating nations, occupying their lands, plundering their resources, attacking them, and subjugating the rest of human society to humiliation, enslavement, control, and submission to serve American and Israeli interests.
One of Allah's blessings upon our people is their instinctive nature as a fighting community—fighters by instinct. Even those who have not yet undergone combat training possess the ability to fight. Nevertheless, it is essential for everyone to actively engage in training courses on combat and warfare.
They also say that it will be difficult for Israel to stop 'the Houthis'. They further comment on Yemeni military capabilities, noting that they see Yemen's capabilities indeed improving, with missile navigation systems of 'the Houthis' becoming more complicated, staying airborne longer than before, and as a result, being harder for Israel to intercept.
In fact, there are numerous statements they have made, and we leave it to the media to present them as evidence and confessions of the effectiveness of Yemeni weapons and Yemen's role.
Regarding the Israeli aggression on our country last Thursday afternoon, the Israeli enemy carried out twenty-two airstrikes, targeting several civilian facilities, including Sana'a Airport, the Hizyaz power station, as well as the ports of Al-Hudaydah and the fuel tanks at the Al-Arj Station in Al-Hudaydah. This Israeli aggression resulted in seven martyrs and thirty-seven injured individuals.
We are currently engaged in an open war with the Israeli enemy, and we, as I mentioned in my previous speech, have targeted and continue to target and strike the Israeli enemy with a significant number of missiles and drones. Our operations in support of the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin continue to target it intensively. We do this out of a sense of religious, moral, human, and faith-based responsibility. Due to our genuine affiliation to faith, our human pride, and our values and morals, we cannot simply stand by and watch what is happening in the Gaza Strip, witnessing the genocidal and horrific crimes committed by the Israeli enemy. If some choose to remain silent, it reflects a flaw in their faith and humanity and a significant lack of courage, as well as in their understanding of the serious consequences of their silence. As for us, we will continue to fulfil this driven-by-faith role in support of the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin. The Israeli aggression will not deter us; we will never retreat from our principled position, which is consistent with faith, humanity, and morals. This aggression will not even affect the level of our position: We are moving in this position at the highest level, and we strive for even what is greater, as I have mentioned many times. We are not like some peoples and countries that wait until they are struck by the Israeli enemy and then lack the courage to respond, not even with a strong word, a firm position, or real action. Our approach is practical; we know how to act based on our awareness, insight, faith, and understanding of this enemy.
On another note, at the beginning of the month of Rajab, a full year has passed since the American-British aggression against our country. The air and naval bombardments on our county have reached a total of 931 airstrikes and naval attacks. The number of martyrs stands at 106, while there are 314 people injured.
Moreover, in their aggression supporting the Israeli enemy against our country, the Americans have come from such a distance and declared their aggression against our country when we declared our position and remained steadfast in our support for the Palestinian people—no wonder, as they are a partner to the Israeli enemy in its aggression on the Gaza Strip. Britain has participated in their aggression. In fact, they attempted to involve others in this, but many countries were wiser and more cautious, avoiding entanglement with the Americans in their aggression. This was in their best interest, as there is fundamentally no justification for the American position. The Americans' sole aim in their aggression against our country is to support the Israeli enemy, for they want the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip to be alone (without any support) when the Israeli enemy works towards their extermination. This is why the Americans hastened to take action. However, they have completely failed. They were unable to affect our operations in the sea aimed at preventing Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, and the Arabian Sea. The Americans have utterly failed in this regard; they could never affect our operations or provide protection for Israeli ships or those Israel-linked ships that carry goods to the Israelis.
In addition to their failure in that, they have also failed to prevent our support operations from targeting the Israeli enemy deep into occupied Palestine. With all their aggression, airstrikes, and naval bombardments, the Americans have completely failed to affect our position. They were unable to deter and stop us or affect the effectiveness of our position. This applies not only to their military aggression but also to their economic pressure, humanitarian pressure, political pressure, and the fierce media warfare they wage. Despite all that, they failed utterly. Their failure is, by every definition of the word, a great victory for our dear people. This is one of the signs of Allah (Glory be to Him). When we moved, both officially and among the masses, to take this right and comprehensive position (militarily, through public activities, and by striving in the cause of Allah with our lives and money and moving in every way we can)—the position that every Muslim and every Islamic country should adopt—and when we took this position to please Allah (the Almighty) and in response to Him, rooted in our affiliation to faith, we clearly experienced the help and great support of Allah and His immense facilitation and extensive care. This is evident in the failure of our enemies. Their failure is a success to us. We have also experienced divine guidance and assistance even in terms of enhancing our military capabilities.
When the Americans began their aggression against our country, I said in a televised speech that their aggression would contribute to the development of our capabilities, even though that was certainly not their intention—this is a problem for them. Indeed, they significantly contributed to the enhancement of our military capabilities when they attacked our country and engaged in the battle, utilising their advanced capabilities and technologies for aggression and attempting to defend the Israelis. That is because we are in a conflict of this magnitude with the Americans, with all their capabilities and technologies, as well as with the Israelis and what they possess and even receive from the Americans and their allies. A battle of this nature compels us to strive to develop our military abilities, and this has been achieved, thanks to Allah. It is a rare situation, or perhaps only found in a few Muslim countries, for a country to possess such a level of military capabilities, including hypersonic missiles, ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones. Such capabilities have reached a level that makes impeding and intercepting them very difficult even for the Americans with all their advanced capabilities and technologies and for the Israelis with all that they possess. In many cases, they clearly fail in their attempts, which is a very important matter. The Americans are utterly failing.
The Americans began their aggression against us a year ago, specifically on the first day of the month of Rajab, which fell on a Friday—the Rajab Friday. Our dear people consider the Rajab Friday a blessed and significant occasion. It marks a historic, everlasting milestone when many members of our dear people willingly and wholeheartedly embraced Islam with conviction. They embarked on this journey in a remarkable way, which the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&F) expressed by saying, 'The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.'
Given the fact that it is common for both the Americans and the Israelis to select specific moments that carry particular significance, the Americans' choice of timing for their aggression reveals the nature of the battle they are waging against our country: They take a hostile position towards us and our dear people because of our affiliation to faith, our faith-based positions, faith-based drive, and our proper faith-driven orientation.
This has to do with the faith that the Yemenis have been known for since the early days of Islam when they moved with Islam. They embraced Islam, and it ran deep into their veins. They welcomed faith into their hearts, and this faith was reflected in their positions and deep commitment that was distinguished to such an extent that it was captured in the noble saying of the Prophet, 'The belief is that of the Yemenites.' This expression is powerful and deeply meaningful, carrying significant implications.
What distinguishes our position as a Yemeni people is that it is truly driven by faith. It is not for the sake of anyone here or there, although some claim that we are merely an 'Iranian arm'. What unites us with the Islamic Republic of Iran is the faith-driven position and orientation it has taken in support of the Palestinian people. This is a position and orientation that should unite the entire Islamic Ummah. It is the duty of all Muslims to come together and take such a position in support of such a just cause that concerns them all—the Palestinian cause. Therefore, we are driven by faith, and we also see the Israeli enemy a common enemy for our entire Muslim Ummah. This is a clear matter that Allah has explained to us in the Holy Quran regarding the Jews, and it is further evidenced by the realities we have witnessed over decades, as well as what the Israeli enemy commits against the Palestinian people, Lebanon, and Syria and what it committed against multiple Arab countries in the past.
The distinguishing feature of a faith-based position is that it originates from an exceptionally serious foundation, which is part of the religious commitments; it is not merely a tactical position. This is why our enemies have failed to force us to retreat from this position. They have applied political pressures but failed; they have applied economic pressure but failed. Every method they have employed to convince us or attempt to persuade us to waver from our position has completely failed. This is because our drive is free from other calculations, such as political interests or specific gains. Our position is steadfast; retreat from it is simply not an option.
Another feature of our faith-based position is its strength. Why is that? It is because this faith-based position is rooted in out trust in Allah (the Almighty), our reliance on Him, and our belief in His promises of victory. It is this foundation that has enabled us to adopt this orientation with such boldness and complete readiness to sacrifice in the way of Allah. Indeed, our position is tied to responding to Allah, relying on Him, and also being aware of this position's significance. We fully recognise the importance of this position, both on a broader level—in our reality as the Yemeni people while we are in this region that is witnessing these events and challenges and facing a significant level of American-Israeli aggression and targeting—and concerning the Palestinian people and supporting them.
If the reality of our Ummah reaches this level of division and inactivity (in which every time one country is targeted, the others stand by and watch without taking action), it is a dangerous state for our Ummah, an extremely negative one. As I mentioned, other people do not behave this way, nor do other nations adopt this approach. If such a position occurred in Europe, how would the people there respond—if an enemy targeted one of their nations or countries, or if this happened in any place in the world? This level of immense passivity is perilous for our Islamic Ummah. It is disgraceful and shameful in every sense of the word. In addition, it represents a profound problem in the Ummah's reality, humanity, affiliation with the religion, morals, values, awareness of its own interests, and national security: It is a real problem in every respect.
The position holds importance in making us a people whose enemies consider with utmost caution. In fact, they evaluate the reality of this Ummah, and the silence of other countries does not ensure their safety. Instead, it emboldens such a covetous enemy with unmatched ambitions and avarice. Is there anything comparable to the American and Israeli greed and avarice? America and Israel are two sides of the same coin. When they observe the submissiveness, weakness, surrender, humiliation, and degradation of other countries, does that compel them to respect these countries or abandon their conspiracies against them? Conspiracies and schemes exist; also, the project is actively being pursued, and they move based on it. Does the negligence, silence, and submissiveness of these countries provide them with respect, awe, strength, and protection? Or does it embolden those covet people, increasing their greed, audacity, and ambition for the success of their aggressive and exploitative schemes?
Thus, the importance of this position lies in the idea that we build ourselves within its framework. Indeed, we are not in a state of depletion, retreat, or decline. On the contrary, we are on an upward trajectory within our path in this position and even during previous stages. Actually, the American aggression against our country has been carried out in two stages. The first phase, still ongoing, involves a coalition, in which regional regimes and other forces participated. The second aggression is in the context of supporting the Israeli enemy, and Britain has taken a role in it with America.
In both paths—countering American aggression against us by the coalition it has supervised and by its aggression against us in support of the Israeli enemy—we have consistently maintained an upward trajectory, not a decline. Decline is experienced by others, but our reality experiences progress. This progress is evident in various dimensions, including faith-based mobilisation and morale state. The faith-based mobilisation and morale are deeply rooted in our dear people, who have inherited them through generations. In this generation, they are present at a very high level, surpassing many of its past generations through long phases of history. This matter is clear. Anyone can explore history to see that at this stage, our people are truly shining and advancing significantly in rooting these faith-based values, principles, and orientation compared to major historical phases. This is a great blessing. Furthermore, they are advancing in developing military capabilities through training, qualification, recruitment, and the very effective popular state. This is, indeed, a significant blessing.
In reality—let this be known to everyone—before the American aggression and at the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we received direct warnings and threats from the Americans. Messages like these were directed to the other countries in the region. Many were frightened and chose not to take any position against the Israeli enemy. Some went even further and colluded with the Israeli enemy. However, we compared the American threats and warnings with the warnings of Allah (Glory be to Him) in the Holy Quran. Actually, there was an American threat if we stood with the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip, and there was a warning from Allah in the Holy Quran if we neglected to support the Palestinian people as a Muslim people, who are part of our Ummah in such a phase. This phase of jihad in the way of Allah against an enemy like the Israeli enemy is considered one of the most important historical phases of jihad for the sake of Allah against criminals, tyrants, oppressors, corruptors on the earth, and evil people, who embody all the negative, criminal, and aggressive traits, posing a danger to humanity. The most essential conditions of this sacred duty, jihad for the sake of Allah, are present. Indeed, jihad for the sake of Allah is to confront such wicked criminals and those who align themselves with them. Then we compared the divine threat in the Holy Quran (when the Ummah neglects its sacred duty—Jihad in the path of Allah) and submission to the American threat.
Which is more dangerous to us, the punishment of Allah or what comes to us from the Americans and Israelis? What is imposed by the Americans and Israelis upon us while standing firm in our position does not pose the same danger as what is imposed when we are in a state of submission and surrender.
Thus, when we turned to the comparison based on the Holy Quran and heard the call of Allah (the Almighty) saying, {'It is only Shaytan who urges you to fear his Auliya. So do not fear them but fear Me if you are believers'}[Ali 'Imran 3:175]—we heard Allah's saying in the Holy Quran, {'Do you fear them? But Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are [truly] believers '}[At-Tawbah 9:13]. In addition, we heard Allah's threat in the Holy Quran, {'If you do not march forth, He will afflict you with a painful torment and replace you with other people. You are not harming Him in the least. And Allah is Most Capable of everything'}[At-Tawbah 9:39]. There are many threats in the Holy Quran against those who ignore and neglect this sacred responsibility. Some of these threats involve immediate punishments in this worldly life, such as being overpowered by enemies, while others pertain to punishments in the Hereafter.
Along with all of that, we also heard Allah's promise of victory when we respond to Him: {'For it is Our duty to grant victory to the believers'}[Ar-Rum 30:47] and {'O you who have attained faith, if you support Allah, He will grant you victory and strengthen your foothold'}[Muhammad 47:7]. Indeed, these are genuine promises from Allah (Glory be to Him). Hence, from our faith-based perspective, we have placed our trust in Allah, recognising that He is the most deserving and worthy of our fear and hope regarding what He has promised. We also trust Him and rely upon Him, for He says, {'And upon Allah let the believers rely'}[Ali 'Imran 3:122]
Therefore, we direct ourselves within the framework of our jihadist position for the sake of Allah, in response to Allah, and with full trust in Allah (Glory be to Him). We fully realise that all danger and utter disgrace lies in abandoning and neglecting our responsibility. Some may think that they are clever individuals, politicians, and geniuses, but they will realise the dire consequences of their wrong choices and their decisions that were not based on the criterion of the Holy Quran, the criterion of truth and justice, the criterion of morals and values, and even the humanitarian criterion. For us, this matter is extremely important: We trust Allah, and we feel His presence with us, knowing that we are with Allah and that Allah is with us. We indeed feel we are very strong because of that. We do not act out of arrogance or vanity; we are not arrogant about our capabilities or our numbers, but we take pride in the honour of faith, holding the power of faith and the feeling of being in the company of Allah (Glory be to Him) as we move responding to Him and seeking His pleasure. Indeed, thanks are to Allah; we praise and thank Him, and we confirm that we truly feel His great care and immense support.
It is important for us to succeed in this great test that our Ummah is going through. It is a significant trial indeed {'so that Allah may distinguish the nasty from the good'}[Al-Anfal 8:37].
After that, we all must also recognise that the American and Israeli ambitions are large and real, and they have grown more than before. In other words, what they want at this stage and the stages after it is even greater, much greater. The current state of the Ummah emboldens them in this regard. The Americans are really greedy and covetous. Trump is coming, and he will act according to this American approach that characterises American policy. He is now shamelessly speaking about his desire to control the Panama Canal. Furthermore, he is shamelessly speaking, with complete disdain and recklessness, about his ambition and desire to annex Canada as the fifty-first state of America. He talks about his wish to annex a part of Norway. This is so regarding other countries there, let alone our Ummah and homelands that are of great interest to the Americans and Israelis. Their aim to control them is part of their Zionist project and the strategy they rely on in their policies and orientations.
This week, there are several events and activities. Among them, as I mentioned, is Rajab Friday, which is a great, historic, and significant milestone that is full of lessons and insights. I have previous speeches regarding this occasion, and on this occasion, we can also recall the great praise from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) for the people of Yemen. This praise is Pertinent to their distinguished role, rooted in their faith-based authenticity. When we look at this role in the early days of Islam and its extension that our dear people should continue to carry throughout their entire history until the Day of Judgment, we find that this matter is extremely important and greatly honourable.
In the early days of Islam, when the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) offered the Arab tribes the opportunity to carry the banner of Islam and to be the supportive base of the divine project, which has an incredibly great future—{'to manifest it over all religion, even to the dismay of those who associate others with Allah'}[At-Tawbah 9:33]—many of the Arab tribes hesitated and, in return, set certain conditions. Indeed, they had calculations like the many calculations that many regimes and countries make today: calculations of fears and interests. Some, due to fear, initially rejected it completely, while others set conditions related to political and material gains. The Messenger (PBUH&F) presented them with a magnificent, sacred, divine project that offers the greatest honour and all the good in this world and the Hereafter. Yet, in the end, they rejected it. The Prophet (PBUH&F) offered this to many tribes, and among all those who were presented with this great divine project, it was offered to the Aws and Khazraj, who were from Yemen. They responded quickly, accepted, and set forth. So after that, the Yemeni people embarked as a continuation for this [first] drive that reflects the greatness of the divine project and the faith-based embark, along with the honour, dignity, goodness, and glory in both this world and the Hereafter resulting from this embark. They set off remarkably, carrying the banner of Islam. They embraced Islam and committed to it in faith and religion, while also carrying its banner in Jihad for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him). For this reason, Allah named the Aws and Khazraj 'the Ansar'. Later the great honour for the people of Yemen was given [by the Messenger]: 'The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.' This distinguished and great role, which carries immense honour, is also a responsibility upon us so that we continue and persevere within this role, which holds great goodness and honour in both this world and the Hereafter.
The distinguishing feature of the faith-based approach was liberation from those calculations of fear. The people of Mecca said, {'If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land'}[Al-Qasas 28:57], so they lost this honour. Others also questioned what material gains they would receive in return and how they would face such a hostile environment. On the other hand, those ancestors who freed themselves from these calculations were liberated, and they directed themselves towards greater, nobler, and more magnificent calculations: the good of this world and the Hereafter. When they asked about their reward in exchange for all of this, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) replied, 'Jannah' (offering them the pleasure of Allah and Jannah), so they replied, 'It is a profitable deal; we will never take a rest or retreat.' They embraced great honour with lofty goals, and indeed, Islam rose, spreading across the land. That Ummah, which started with a small nucleus, became the strongest, most capable, and greatest nation, and it was present on the global stage more than any other. It held a remarkable and distinguished message. However, the decline came later as a result of regressions in principles and values, much like the state of our Ummah today, marked by calculations, ambitions, desires, and other such things.
One of the notable activities this week was the scholarly meeting of religious scholars and preachers in Sana'a. This meeting included many valuable speeches and concluded with an important statement. This meeting is also related to the month of Rajab and the reinforcement of our faith-based identity, because, as I mentioned, this is a responsibility passed down through generations, with Yemen's scholars playing a distinguished role. When we compare the role of religious scholars in Yemen to those in other countries, we find that their role is truly aligned with the great direction of our dear people in a unique way. Consequently, what distinguishes our people's position is the position of its scholars, elites, masses, and also tribes.
This week, many Yemeni tribes held tribal assemblies with their weapons to declare their clear, obvious, strong, and unwavering position. In fact, Yemeni tribes have a rich historical record of steadfastness, courage, chivalry, honour, resistance against invaders and those with covetous eyes, bravery, and heroism. These tribal assemblies were great, and the role of the Yemeni tribes in jihad for the sake of Allah also remains an honourable one.
There was also a significant turnout at the demonstrations last week and the week before, standing in defiance of the Israeli enemy. This is because the battle between us and the Israeli enemy is escalating, and thus it requires increased effort, participation, and engagement that demonstrate steadfastness and resilience.
The enemies (following each of their military and media campaigns, political and economic pressures, and hostile propaganda disseminated in the media through Zionist mouthpieces) assess the outcome of their actions, seeking to know what the position is and whether the people are still steadfast, resilient, and firm in their position or have retreated. When they witness the unwavering resolve of this people, they are significantly affected. Last week, by the grace of Allah, the turnout was honourable in seven hundred and thirty-one locations, starting with Al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a.
In addition, there are grand and honourable continuity (which is great honour) and also steadfastness and perseverance. This is what Allah commands us to uphold in our jihad because the assemblies, demonstrations, and marches are all part of an integrated position, all of which represent jihad in the path of Allah, the Almighty. In the scenes of the demonstrations, I see some fathers, elderly men, and those advanced in age, who continue to participate weekly, with hardly a week passing without their presence. I see wounded individuals (even those with severe injuries) attending. I also see some blind individuals, some of whom lost their sight due to injuries sustained while practising jihad in the path of Allah; they are present, too. Both old and young people attend. This great and widespread turnout reflects this steadfastness, and through it, this dear people send a powerful message. Hence, this continuity is extremely important.
Tomorrow marks the first Friday of the month of Rajab, known as 'Rajab Friday', a major and historic occasion of great importance. Therefore, I call upon our dear people to take to the streets tomorrow on Rajab Friday, following an entire year of American aggression in support of the Israeli enemy, and during this critical phase during which the battle between us and the Israeli enemy is escalating. I call upon our dear people to take to the streets in millions for a massive, grand, honourable, and powerful demonstration to renew the covenant and pledge with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F). This is a reaffirmation of our commitment to continue the march, remain steadfast in our position, and adhere to the sincere and faith-driven direction. We affirm that we are a people who will never abandon the banner, leave the arenas, or retreat from our faith-driven positions, driven by our faith for the sake of Allah (the Almighty). We are a people who place our trust in Allah and in His promise of victory, standing ready to confront challenges and offer sacrifices for His cause. This is because the ultimate outcome belongs to those who are mindful of Allah, as promised by Allah (Glory be to Him). We witness the fruit of this position in the faith-driven might we experience, which is a great blessing. While we observe others in a dreadful and horrifying state of disgrace and humiliation, we see the result of our position as faith-driven might, divine victory, and strength in facing challenges (however challenging they may be) through our reliance on Allah, the Almighty.
The demonstration tomorrow is of great importance, as it conveys this message: a message of loyalty to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), a message of steadfastness in accordance with Allah's command, and a continued commitment to carry the banner that our forefathers and ancestors carried alongside the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) in support of Islam and truth. It is a message of steadfastness and unwavering commitment to the faith-driven direction. Allah willing, tomorrow's turnout will be massive in all squares, governorates, and districts according to the established arrangements.
I ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. He is the All-Hearer of prayer. We also ask Him to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin.
Tomorrow's participation is a challenge to both the Israelis and the Americans, as well as to anyone who seeks to align with them.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
