Doha - Saba:

Paris Saint-Germain won the French Super Cup after defeating Monaco 1-0 on Sunday evening at the 974 World Cup Stadium in Qatar.

Paris Saint-Germain owes its credit to its player Ousmane Dembele, who scored the winning goal and the only goal of the match in the 92nd minute.

The French capital team, which won the title in the last two editions and participated in the Super Cup 17 times previously, succeeded in adding a third title in a row and strengthening its record after previously winning 12 times.

The French Super Cup title is the second for the Parisian team under the leadership of its Spanish coach Luis Enrique, who took over the task of training it in the summer of 2023, succeeding the former French coach Christophe Galtier.

Paris Saint-Germain extended the record for the most French Super Cup wins with 13 titles, while Lyon comes in second place with eight titles, while Stade Reims and Saint-Etienne each have five titles, while Monaco has four titles.
