US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed today, Monday, his confidence in reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, whether during the term of President Joe Biden or after Donald Trump succeeds him on January 20.
Blinken said during a press conference in Seoul that Washington wants to conclude an agreement to cease fire in the Gaza Strip and release the hostages within the next two weeks...
He continued, saying, "We very much want to cross the finish line within the next two weeks, which is the time we have left."
He added, "If we do not cross (by agreement) the finish line within the next two weeks, I am confident that it will eventually be done... and when it is done, it will be based on the plan presented by President Biden."
