Today, the branch of the Public Authority for Water Resources and Installations in Ibb Governorate carried out the operation of filling seven violating manual wells in the districts of Yarim and A Sayani.
Mohammed al-Warafi, the director of the authority's branch in the province, confirmed that the campaign was conducted in coordination with the Public Prosecution and security agencies. This initiative is part of the authority's efforts to prevent random drilling and to eliminate violations that contribute to the depletion of groundwater.
He emphasized that these measures are designed to prevent the unauthorized drilling of manual wells, urging adherence to the existing laws and regulations. This approach aims to safeguard the sustainability of water resources for future generations.
