New York - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) described, on Wednesday, "hospitals in Gaza as death traps."
It explained in a post on the "X" platform that families in Gaza are disintegrating, children are dying of cold, and hunger is killing lives.
It called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA's statements come in light of the ongoing bombing and direct targeting of hospitals, in an effort to eliminate the health system in the north and south, as the three public hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, namely: Kamal Adwan, Beit Hanoun, and the Indonesian, have become out of service, due to the escalation of the occupation's aggression, and only 14 hospitals out of 36 in Gaza are now partially operating, and are facing a severe shortage of supplies, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
