Gaza - Saba:
Minister of Finance in the Zionist entity Bezalel Smotrich threatened Wednesday that "Israel" is heading towards occupying Gaza completely, after Donald Trump takes office as President of the United States, on the 20th of this month.
Smotrich said: On January 21, after Trump takes office, the military pressure in Gaza will be stronger, not entering or exiting, but seizing and occupying the territories, and we should not be afraid of that, while bearing civil responsibility.
He added: "The military pressure on Hamas will be increased, and we will remain in Gaza for a long time."
This is not the first time that Smotrich has called for occupying Gaza. Last November, he called for reoccupying the Gaza Strip and displacing half of its population within two years.
Smotrich said at the time that "Israel" has an opportunity with the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump to encourage what he described as voluntary emigration from the Gaza Strip. He believed that the number of Palestinians in the Strip could be reduced by half within two years.
The Zionist Broadcasting Authority quoted Smotrich as saying: "The Gaza Strip must be occupied and its population reduced to less than half of its current number."
