The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected cold and relatively cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that cold weather is expected during the night and early morning hours in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran and Sa'ada.
While the weather will be relatively cold to cold in the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhale'e, Lahj and Abyan, as well as the governorates of Al-Jawf and Marib and the plateaus and deserts of Al-Mahra, Hadramout and Shabwa.
The center reported that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar - Rasaba: 2.6, Dhamar - Al-Madinah: 4, Amran: 4, Sana'a: 5 degrees Celsius.
It warned citizens in the mountainous highlands, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the late night and early morning hours of the cold weather.
He called on farmers to take the necessary measures to protect their crops, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to protect them from the effects of the cold.
