The First Deputy Prime Minister, the scholar Mohamed Moftah, and the Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Obbad, inspected the progress of work in the 16th Street maintenance project in the Beit Me'yad neighborhood in Al-Sabeen districts, at 193 million riyals, with funding from the Secretariat.
The scholars Moftah and Obbad, along with the Capital Sanaa for the Works Sector, Engineer Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, and the assistant for the services sector, Abdullah Hussein, reviewed the progress of the implementation of concrete castings and the completion rate of 40 percent in the project implemented by the General Organization for Roads and Bridges under the supervision of the works and projects sector in the Secretariat.
They listened from the Director of the Roads Corporation branch in the Secretariat, Eng. Abdullah Al-Roa’ini, to an explanation of the components of the project, which includes the implementation of concrete surface bridges with a length of 950 square meters, in addition to asphalt restorations for the targeted sections in the 16th Street in Beit Me'yad neighborhood.
They urged the engineers to speed up the work and complete the maintenance and restoration project for 16th Street by the specified technical and engineering specifications, which would facilitate traffic, serve citizens, and improve public streets.
