The third phase of the Aqsa Flood courses for school scouts on Wednesday began in Jahana district in Sana'a governorate, as part of the project to build, rehabilitate, and form scout teams for students in the governorate's schools.
During the workshop, implemented by the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate as part of the social construction plan for the governorate for the year 1446 AH, the director of the office, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, said the workshop is aimed to qualify and activate the role of 80 scouts from the students of the district's schools, in serving the community.
He noted that the participants would receive knowledge about scouting and cultural aspects over 6 days, indicating that the office has a plan to form scouting teams at the level of each school in the governorate's districts in coordination with the educational sector.
He said implementing the Aqsa Flood courses will contribute to creating a generation armed with knowledge and capable to confront the enemies' conspiracies and malicious plans to undermine the youth of the nation.
The opening of the workshop was attended by the director of the Youth Office in the district, Ahmed Silan, the training officer in the educational sector in the district, Muhammad Sabah, and the directors of the schools participating in the workshop.
