Melbourne - Saba:
Serbian Novak Djokovic on Wednesday won the Australian Open Tennis Championship 6-1, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 over Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria in the second round, taking another step towards his 25th title in the four Grand Slams.
Faria's first-round win was his first on the ATP Tour, while Djokovic set another record as he entered the court for his 430th Grand Slam match.
The gap in experience began in a one-sided opening set but Faria came roaring back to win the second set in a tiebreaker with his ball-striking skills and on-court energy.
But Djokovic, coached by former rival Andy Murray, broke his opponent's serve to lead 4-2 in the third set and then completely eliminated any threat from the world number 125 in the fourth.
