The head of the Customs Authority, Eng. Adel Margham, inspected the progress of customs procedures at the Taiz Customs and Control Office, the level of services it provides to the public, and its development efforts.
In a meeting chaired by the head of the Customs Authority and attended by the Director of the Taiz Customs and Control Office, Mohammed Al-Mahfadi, his deputies, employees, and several directors of the relevant departments in the Authority, the problems facing the work in the office were discussed, as well as the solutions and treatments that ensure facilitating and simplifying customs procedures and reducing the time for releasing goods.
In the meeting, Eng. Margham was directed to quickly address the situations of seized and abandoned items by the legal procedures followed.
He stressed the keenness to support the Taiz Customs and Control Office with the necessary needs and requirements to facilitate procedures and keep pace with the work movement firsthand in a way that ensures simplifying procedures and overcoming the obstacles resulting from the continued aggression and siege.
