Minister of Health reviews workflow of quarantine office at Sana'a Airport

Today, the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, reviewed the progress of the work of the quarantine office at Sana'a International Airport and the difficulties facing his duties.

Minister Shaiban, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mansour, and the Director of Sana'a International Airport, Khaled Al-Shaif, inspected the health services provided by the airport's quarantine office for arriving and departing travelers via Jordan.

Shaiban, Al-Mansour, and Al-Shaif listened to an explanation from the Director of the Airport's quarantine office, Akram Al-Kahlani, about the efforts made to ensure the health safety of travelers and airport workers, and the preventive measures taken to prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics.

They also reviewed the difficulties facing the quarantine office, especially in light of the current circumstances, and provided the necessary capabilities to develop the office's performance to keep pace with the current challenges.

The Minister of Health and Environment pointed out the importance of the role of the quarantine office in protecting public health, stressing the ministry's readiness to provide support to facilitate the office's work and enhance its efforts in this field.

In turn, the Director of Sana'a International Airport appreciated the interaction of the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Environment in meeting the necessary needs of the quarantine office in a way that enhances the development of its work at the airport.
