Hodeida - Saba:

The Public Prosecution in Hodeida province has released 71 insolvent prisoners who were unable to pay their private debts, thanks to the intervention of philanthropists who guaranteed their outstanding amounts, totaling 12.3 million Y.R.

Head of the prosecution Judge Hadi Ayda explained that these prisoners had completed their sentences but remained incarcerated due to their inability to settle private debts.

The release was made possible through recent inspections of local prisons by the head of the prosecution and a judicial committee, led by Judge Hussein al-Olofi.

Judge Ayda expressed gratitude to the philanthropists who contributed to the release efforts and emphasized the Public Prosecution's readiness to cooperate with all humanitarian organizations to assist the insolvent.

He also highlighted that addressing the issues of insolvent prisoners is a priority, ensuring that justice is served without compromising the rights of others involved in the cases.
