Tax authority undersecretaries honor director general of Sa'ada branch for excellence in Tax collection

Sa'ada - Saba:

Tax Authority Undersecretaries for the Collection Sector Abdo Kazman and Financial and Administrative Sector Fahd Dahmash on Saturday held a ceremony in Sa'ada province to honor Qasim al-Shaiba, Director General of the Tax Branch in Sa'ada, in recognition of the branch’s outstanding achievements in monitoring and collecting tax resources.

The two Undersecretaries praised Sa'ada branch's ability to overcome challenges posed by the ongoing conflict and blockade, leading to remarkable progress in tax revenue collection.

Kazman and Dahmash emphasized the commitment of the Tax Authority leadership, represented by the Acting Head of the Authority, to continue supporting Sa'ada branch in maintaining its excellence. This support aims to strengthen the national steadfastness program and contribute to the broader development efforts of the state.

In his speech, Qasim al-Shaiba expressed gratitude for the recognition, calling it a strong motivation for the branch’s team.

He highlighted that the honor would inspire collective efforts to achieve the desired goals and ensure the continued success of the tax system.

The discussion focused on the performance of tax work and adherence to the Authority's directives, particularly in simplifying tax procedures for taxpayers.

The Undersecretaries reiterated that their visit was part of a field program to assess the needs of all tax branches. Their goal is to provide necessary resources to improve the efficiency of the tax administration, which plays a critical role in supporting the salary bill and national development.

Al-Shaiba also presented a comprehensive report on the progress of tax work in the province, outlining achievements and future plans. He highlighted how the branch’s efforts in providing facilities to taxpayers have built trust and promoted a culture of voluntary tax compliance.
