The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Sunday, the destruction of eight Ukrainian drones over the Crimean Peninsula.
The ministry said in a statement: "Air defense means destroyed eight Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Crimean Peninsula."
It explained that "air defenses shot down 18 drones in Bryansk province, 11 in Kursk province, seven in Kaluga province, five in Tula province, three in Belgorod province, and two in Voronezh province."
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian forces periodically target Russian areas near their borders, especially areas populated by civilians and infrastructure, in a failed attempt to sow terror, demoralize, and undermine confidence among citizens.
