Israeli ex-official: Hamas won, war ended with Israeli resounding loss
[19/ January/2025]

Occupied Quds - Saba:

The war has "ended in a resounding failure for Israel, and Hamas won," former head of the Zionist National Security Council said late on Saturday, after about 470 days of the genocidal war waged by the Zionist army on Gaza Strip, with eliminating the resistance was one of war's declared goals.

Giora Eiland remarks came in an interview with the Zionist Channel 7, to be added to what he had previously acknowledged, regarding the inability of the occupation entity to achieve the goals it had set for the war, such that "Hamas recovers from the severe blow it suffered, not all prisoners will return, and "Israel" will not eliminate the Hamas authority."

In parallel, and before the ceasefire came into effect, Tel Aviv witnessed a rally by settlers against the prisoner swap deal, as confrontations occurred with the police, who used foul-smelling water to disperse the protesters on Begin Road.

According to a Zionist media platform, the protesters objected to the agreement entering into force, demanding that this not be allowed to happen, as the deal "will free hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, waste the achievements of the war, and lead to an attack (similar to the Aqsa Flood on October 7) later."

In occupied Quds, settlers also organized a demonstration that included a brawl on Saturday evening.

It is noteworthy that the Zionist enemy continued its massacres, through the continuous bombing of the Gaza Strip, before the implementation of the agreement began, so that the death toll from the war of extermination exceeded 46,899 martyrs and 110,725 wounded, since October 7, 2023, according to the latest statistics published by the Ministry of Health in the Strip on Saturday.

On the other hand, and until the 470th day of the Aqsa Flood, the resistance in the Strip continued to target the Zionist enemy forces.
