The Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad announced that it is preparing to hold an international forum on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in Istanbul, to announce the establishment of the Global Alliance to Combat the Occupation of Palestine; Based on the outcomes of the Second Palestinian National Dialogue Forum.
The conference explained in a statement today, Sunday, that the global alliance aims to enhance international efforts to support the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the right of return and self-determination, and to oppose the occupation's policies and hold its leaders accountable for the war of extermination against the Gaza Strip.
The head of the preparatory committee for launching the alliance, Sari Zuaiter, said: The Global Alliance to Combat the Occupation of Palestine is the cry of the free people of the world to support truth, justice and peace.
Zaiter stressed that the coalition against racism and genocide is an affirmation of the Palestinian people's right to achieve their legitimate rights and self-determination.
The launch of the coalition will witness the participation of representatives of civil society organizations from various countries of the world and the presence of an elite group of international political, academic and human rights figures from more than 30 countries.
The coalition aims to coordinate efforts and unify the voices of those working to support the Palestinian cause, form a unifying umbrella for them and shed light on the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation.
