Foreign Minister meets UNDP Resident Representative in Sana'a

Sana'a - Saba:

Jamal Ahmed Amer, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met today with Zeina Ali Ahmed, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Sana'a.

Minister Amer listened to a report on the rural resilience project implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Al-Hodeidah Governorate.

During the meeting, Minister Amer stressed the importance of continuing rural resilience programs in many governorates, as rural development is the basis of development in society.

He directed the rapid resolution of several logistical issues related to the continuation of the work of the United Nations Development Program.

For her part, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program explained that the program is continuing its work in the capital, Sana'a, and that it is about to complete the preparation of its draft work plan for the year 2025 and to identify the projects that will be implemented after obtaining the necessary funding for them.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates for the International Cooperation Sector, Ambassador Ismail Muhammad Al-Mutawakel.
