Sana'a - Saba:
A training program on the basics of manufacturing chemical products began on Monday in Sana'a, organized by the Training and Rehabilitation Center of the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control in cooperation with the Small and Micro Enterprise Development Authority.
The program aims to provide 40 male and female participants from productive families with knowledge and skills on the basics of manufacturing chemical products such as detergents, disinfectants and cosmetics.
At the opening, the Executive Director of the Standards Authority, Sam Al-Bashiri, stated the importance of the program in building the capabilities of participants in the field of manufacturing chemical products and introducing them to the skills of preparation and installation methods, calculating the manufacturing ratios of detergents and disinfectants, and the basic requirements for equipping detergent production plants, as well as the various components of cosmetics.
He said participants will be provided with occupational safety methods when dealing with chemical materials and products and their risks, in addition to the content of the explanatory data in the product statement card.
Al-Bashiri added that the training and rehabilitation center will implement ambitious training programs targeting the Authority's cadres and relevant entities, including productive families.
At the opening, in the presence of the Deputy Director General of the Authority for Standards, Research and Development, Eng. Abu Al-Hassan Al-Nahari, the trainers, Eng. Fahmi Al-Halimi and Ali Al-Muthami, pointed out the importance of the training program and the valuable lectures it includes in the field of the basics of manufacturing chemical products.
