Amran - Saba:
The Amran Governorate branch of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society has launched a project today to distribute shelter aid and hygiene kits to 570 families affected by rain and floods. This initiative is in coordination with the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and the Shelter and Camp Management and Coordination Clusters, with support from the German Red Cross. Ali Al-Azab, the head of the Yemeni Red Crescent branch in the governorate, stated that the aid distribution includes essential shelter materials such as mattresses, blankets, kitchen utensils, and hygiene kits. This assistance is aimed at families affected by the recent rains throughout the governorate.
He pointed out that the distribution comes within the framework of the emergency humanitarian response implemented by the Red Crescent Society to help affected families and alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
He also appreciated the efforts of the governorate leadership and the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs branch in coordinating and following up with organizations to provide for the needs of affected families and the most needy families.
For their part, the affected families benefiting from the project appreciated the efforts of the Red Crescent in the governorate and the assistance it provides in light of the harsh conditions they are suffering from.
