Minister of Health and Environment Ali Abdulkarim Shaiban met on Tuesday with regional director of the Spanish Doctors Without Borders organization Hamidan Mohammed.
In the meeting, Shaiban and Mohammed focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the organization in providing health services, particularly in the provinces of Hajjah and Hodeida.
Minister Shaiban emphasized the need to expand the provision of emergency health services and support for mental health services.
He also called upon Doctors Without Borders to advocate for the lifting of the siege on Yemen and to mobilize resources to support the country's healthcare system.
Mohammed expressed its commitment to working closely with the Ministry of Health to address the health needs of the Yemeni people.
