Zionist enemy pays heavy price and suffers losses in its war on Gaza
[22/ January/2025]

Sana'a - Saba: The end of the Zionist war of extermination on Gaza after reaching a ceasefire agreement and a gradual withdrawal of the enemy army from the areas of the Strip, the heavy costs and complex losses incurred by the Zionist enemy in its war on Gaza began to be revealed.

After about 15 months of the genocidal war that the enemy began on October 7, 2023, in a war that is the longest since the beginning of the Arab-Zionist conflict, the human loss of the Palestinians was huge, as more than 46 thousand martyrs and more than 109 thousand wounded and injured from the residents of Gaza were killed in this brutal war.. and 69 percent of the area of the Strip was destroyed, at a rate of 245 thousand housing units that are no longer suitable for living, in addition to the internal displacement of 90 percent of the population of the Strip to different areas.

But these losses are the result of a major war of liberation from the last colonial occupation on the face of the earth, and the price of freedom is always expensive and horrific.

If the Palestinians paid a huge price in the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” for their liberation from this brutal occupation, the Zionist settlers are suffering as the people of Palestine are suffering, and they are drinking the bitterness of their occupation and the price of their aggression in terms of their lives, money, reputation, and even the future of their entity and their children.

In this context, the Palestinian resistance inflicted unprecedented human and material losses on the occupying entity. As of January 2025, the Zionist enemy suffered increasing human losses in the ranks of the army and settlers, including 840 soldiers, in addition to 58 police officers and ten members of the internal security service (Shin Bet), while the resistance was able to capture 251 Zionists, including those holding foreign nationalities, 36 of whom were killed in the intensive Zionist bombing of the Gaza Strip. In addition to more than 1,900 wounded, most of them in the first days following Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa.

According to official data issued by the Zionist Ministry of War, the Ministry's Rehabilitation Department received ten thousand and fifty-six wounded soldiers between October 2023 and August 2024, at a rate of more than a thousand wounded per month as a result of military operations in Gaza.

The data showed that more than 3,700 of the injured suffered limb injuries, while other injuries included 192 head injuries, 168 eye injuries, and 690 spinal cord injuries, in addition to 50 amputation cases receiving treatment in the rehabilitation department.

The Israeli Defense and Security Budget Inspection Committee "Nagel" revealed in a discussion about the war figures and its results, that the cost of the war on the Gaza Strip amounted to approximately 250 billion shekels ($67.57 billion) until the end of 2024, an amount limited to direct security costs, civilian expenses, and revenue losses, and does not include other aspects.

The so-called Zionist Ministry of Finance said that the entity's budget recorded a deficit of 19.2 billion shekels ($5.2 billion) until December 2024, the highest since 2020. It pointed out that the expenses of the entire war (in Gaza and Lebanon) reached 621 billion shekels ($169.7 billion), an increase of 20 percent over the previous year. This may be a reason for raising the Ministry of Defense's budget in the coming decades.

The enemy media pointed out the inaccuracy of what the Zionist government announced in its report issued at the end of 2024, about the financial deficit reaching 6.9 percent of the GDP.. describing the situation as "darker", as the analyses showed that the entity's real deficit reaches 7.2 percent of the GDP, or about 142 billion shekels ($37.7 billion).

Despite the celebration of the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich of a figure of less than seven percent of the deficit, the data confirms the slowdown in the growth of the Zionist economy, as the GDP per capita is expected to contract during the new year, in conjunction with a significant increase in the cost of living and the impact on small and medium-sized companies and the closure of hundreds of them.

As for the Zionist military losses since October 7, 2023, it is difficult to confirm accurate numbers due to the discrepancy in reports and the lack of comprehensive official data. However, some sources indicate that "Israel" lost approximately 88 armored vehicles during the first five days of fighting in Gaza, followed by 335 military vehicles by November 2023, and no less than 1,000 military tanks by 2023, according to separate statements by Hamas leaders.

The Zionist Broadcasting Authority revealed that 35 percent of the wounded soldiers suffer from psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, while 37 percent of them lost a limb.

The authority said that the majority of the wounded, 68 percent, are reserve soldiers and most of them are young, with 51 percent of them between the ages of 18 and 30, and 31 percent between the ages of 30 and 40. It pointed out that 28 percent of the wounded classified “mental difficulties” as the biggest problem they face after returning from fighting in Gaza.

Since the launch of Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" and the subsequent bloody confrontations with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in addition to several months of clashes with "Hezbollah" on the Lebanese border, the Zionist entity has been facing strategic losses that top the list of what is difficult to compensate for or redress.. extending to include economic, political and security dimensions, which puts it in front of existential challenges that affect its image and status at the regional and international levels.

The "Bank of Israel" previously reported that the absence of 57,600 members of the workforce in the northern settlements is costing the Zionist economy irreparable losses estimated at about $63.2 million per week.

The ceasefire deal in Gaza and the end of the war on the terms of the resistance, led by Hamas, confirms that the losses incurred by the enemy far exceed the limits of human, material and strategic losses. In fact, this war carries with it a long-term defeat from which "Israel" may never recover, as the limitations of the Zionist power in the face of the will of the Palestinian resistance have become clear.

The spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, during his speech on the occasion of the entry into force of the truce agreement, presented some of the accounts that represent the compound losses of the enemy after the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, which became "a nail in the coffin of the occupation that must inevitably disappear", after it became a pariah entity whose leaders and soldiers are being hunted as war criminals who commit brutal genocide against Gaza.

Abu Obeida said in his speech: The shock that the Zionist entity was exposed to in this battle weakened the foundations of its security theory and dealt it a major blow, and overthrew the theory of deterrence, and caused the killing and wounding of thousands of its soldiers, and the destruction and removal of about two thousand military vehicles from service.

He continued his speech by emphasizing that the resistance has struck the foundations of the so-called national security of the enemy, and forced displacement and migration were imposed on large areas, and multiple battle fronts were opened, in indications of its inevitable demise.

He explained that "the naval blockade, and the enemy's need to cover up and hide and seek help from international forces to defend it, are all signs of its weakness and defeat, and this war will remain a symbol of pride and dignity, and will be a beacon for all free people."

He added, "All this, passing through exposing the occupation and showing it as a brutal criminal entity, distorting its face, and exposing those who stand behind it from the tyrants of the world and its formal organizations, reaching the point of rejecting it and pursuing its leaders and soldiers as war criminals wanted by justice, and all of this and much more made the peoples of the world realize the extent of the crime of this occupation."

In the context of the enemy's great losses, Abu Obeida stressed that "the vast majority of the world's peoples have become convinced that this occupation is the greatest sin of this time, and that its continued usurpation of our land will affect the region and the world, and that the silence and collusion of the forces of injustice in the so-called international community on its crimes in Gaza will have dire consequences for everyone, not just Gaza."

By shedding light on the implications of the losses presented by Abu Obeida, the numbers and facts actually show the extent of what the enemy has lost on the political, military and economic levels, and on the level of its internal front and its crisis that has swept through all components of its society, which has become more disintegrated after the flood.

The official figures revealed by the Zionist internal front show the evacuation of about 143,000 occupied settlers from the occupied southern and northern regions, including 74,500 from the Gaza envelope settlements and 68,500 from the border with Lebanon, in addition to the great economic losses that have swept its economy and plunged its currency, the "shekel", to the bottom.

Calcalist newspaper questioned this week the Zionist government's announcement that the fiscal deficit would reach 6.9 percent of GDP in 2024, or about 136 billion shekels ($36.1 billion).

It pointed out that the truth seems darker, as analyses show that the real deficit reaches 7.2 percent of GDP, or about 142 billion shekels ($37.7 billion).

Militarily, the Zionist entity suffered heavy losses, as the Palestinian resistance was able to destroy about 41 percent of the 383 vehicles that penetrated Gaza, reflecting the extent of the military attrition that the Zionist forces were exposed to during the ground operations.

The Zionist entity's statistics bureau confirmed that 82,700 settlers left occupied Palestine in 2024, including 58,900 who did not return. This comes in light of the effects of Operation "Flood of Al-Aqsa", which left significant effects on the internal situation.

This battle proved the brutal nature of this fascist entity as a rogue entity against international systems and laws, and all human norms, with its disregard for all values, and its commission of the most heinous crimes against children, women, hospitals, and protected places, which shocked the world and peoples.

The entity became a fugitive, and the International Criminal Court demanded that its leaders and soldiers, headed by Netanyahu, be brought to court as war criminals, while the countries of the world joined South Africa in its case filed against the occupying state in the International Court of Justice.

The enemy's losses did not stop there, but the "Al-Aqsa Flood" struck it deeply, and the world no longer believes the lie of anti-Semitism promoted by the occupying entity, the most moral army in the world, the most democratic state in the Middle East, and others.

The Battle of "Al-Aqsa Flood" was able to bring down the Zionist narrative among a large segment of this world, from peoples, institutions, unions, groups, countries and entities, in contrast to a great rise of the Palestinian right and the Palestinian narrative around the world, especially after the brutal massacres committed by the enemy against innocent civilians.

This battle also highlighted the hypocritical nature of the official Western international system, its support for the Zionist entity and its denial of all international laws and institutions that were established after World War II to protect civilians in particular, turning a blind eye to a comprehensive war of extermination against Palestinian civilians.

This battle confirmed that this entity is a bastard and alien to the fabric of our Arab region, and contradicts the values of humanity, and that there is no peace or security in the region except by eliminating the Nazi Zionist entity from the land of Palestine and its Islamic and Christian sanctities, and establishing the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Throughout the 471 days of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Zionist enemy tried to burn the collective consciousness and strike the popular incubator of the Palestinian resistance by inflicting the greatest possible damage, which was translated into crimes that contemporary history has not witnessed, but the first hours of the ceasefire revealed the failure.

As soon as 8:30 in the morning, the Gazans flocked to the streets carrying their concerns, rejoicing and jubilant at the end of the war of extermination, chanting slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance, led by the Qassam Brigades. Citizens carried Palestinian flags and Hamas banners, expressing their support for the resistance option as the only option to restore rights, despite the high price.
