[23/ January/2025]
Sana'a - Saba:
On the 455th day of the Zionist-American war on Gaza Strip...The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced that indirect negotiations in Qatari capital Doha to reach a ceasefire in Gaza will resume on Friday.

In a statement this evening, the movement emphasized its seriousness , positivity and its endeavor to reach an agreement as soon as possible to achieve the aspirations , goals of the patient and steadfast Palestinians, the most important of which is to stop the aggression and protect the Palestinians amid the genocide and ethnic cleansing practiced by the enemy.

"This round will focus on the agreement leading to a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza Strip , the details of implementation, and the return of the displaced to their houses from which they were evicted in all areas of Gaza Strip," it said.

The movement called on the media not to deal with information and leaks from unknown sources, which are published by some parties, with the aim of confusing, increasing pressure and confusing the popular support. It stressed that she continues its efforts in communicating with various countries, international institutions and regional charities to follow up on the tragic humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip, amid the occupation's ongoing crimes.

It explained that these contacts aim to work to alleviate the Palestinians, break the humanitarian siege, secure and deliver the necessary needs to face the tragic conditions, especially in the face of the winter season, as well as prepare and arrange for the relief and shelter of our people once a ceasefire agreement is reached.

Mohammad al-Hindi, deputy secretary general of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, confirmed on Friday that "the Zionist entity's professional delegation in Doha on Friday came to complete the previous round of negotiations that took place during the last two weeks regarding reaching a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal in Gaza Strip." He explained that the chances of reaching a deal are currently higher than the previous stages.

The Indian leader said in a press statement: "The occupation army is deliberately implementing a major field escalation by targeting civilians and hospitals with threats by the Minister of War, Knesset members and Zionist ministers in order to exert pressure to extract positions at the negotiating table."

He added: "The enemy requested the addition of 11 names of Zionist prisoners from reserve soldiers who do not meet the conditions of the first phase (neither sick nor old), and the resistance agreed to add them, but at a price different from the price of the first category." He pointed out that the return of displaced people, gradual withdrawal and relief begins in the first phase of the exchange.

He continued: "The technical issues of the deal are being discussed on Friday, and the majority of the Zionist public opinion is in favor of the deal, as well as with the approach of Trump's inauguration." He stressed that the occupation entity has failed to retrieve its prisoners by force.

Earlier on Friday, enemy media reported that a Zionist delegation headed to the Qatari capital, Doha, to resume negotiations in an attempt to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, amid statements talking about "slow progress at the same time indicating that it is "ongoing".

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said on Friday, in remarks quoted by Reuters news agency: "President Joe Biden's administration is urging Hamas to sign a ceasefire agreement that would allow the release of Zionist detainees. He emphasized that the White House welcomed Israel's decision to send another team to Doha to continue negotiations.

A delegation of "working-level" negotiators left the Zionist entity, heading to Qatar to participate in talks related to the ceasefire in Gaza, the exchange of prisoners and detainees with Hamas, according to Channel "12" Zionist television channel.

"Netanyahu authorized a working-level delegation from the Foreign Intelligence Service (Mossad), the General Security Service (Shin Bet) and the Zionist army to continue negotiations in Doha," a statement issued by the office of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday according to the Times of Israel.

Later, Maariv newspaper said that Netanyahu held a discussion with the Zionist delegation: Netanyahu held a discussion with the Zionist delegation before leaving for Doha to discuss the exchange deal and the gaps in positions with Hamas.

The newspaper quoted a senior Zionist official familiar with the talks: "The gaps are still large and no breakthrough has been achieved, but without negotiations there is no chance of bridging the gaps, and we must continue efforts."

Sources familiar with the negotiations told the media that the talks have progressed, but significant gaps remain between the two sides, preventing a decisive breakthrough so far.

The families of the Zionist hostages have expressed concern about the progress of the negotiations, with the Office of the Families of the Kidnapped issuing a statement on Thursday: "This opportunity for negotiations cannot be missed. The kidnappers held deep in Hamas tunnels in Gaza have no time to waste in slow negotiations."

The families' statement added: "We call on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to give the team full authorization to complete a deal that guarantees the return of all abductees, both alive and for the burial of the dead."

The Zionist enemy government announced in a statement on Thursday that it is continuing its diplomatic and security efforts to ensure the return of all abductees to their houses. "We are working in coordination with international allies and with the utmost seriousness to complete the deal."

Indirect negotiations between Hamas and the Zionist entity have gained momentum in recent weeks in an attempt to stop the more than 14-month war in Gaza, mediated by Egypt and Qatar with the participation of the United States.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy has been waging a large-scale war against Gaza Strip that has led to the martyrdom of more than 45,000 Palestinians and the destruction of houses and infrastructure.

Since the beginning of the Zionist-American war on October 7, only one truce was implemented in November 2023, during which about 100 Zionist prisoners were released, while Hamas announced that dozens of them were killed in indiscriminate Zionist raids. While the enemy holds more than 11,300 Palestinians in its prisons according to prisoners' organizations.

Media reports revealed that tireless efforts are being made behind the scenes with the participation of international mediators and the United States, in an effort to reach a deal before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.

In late December, indirect negotiations between the Zionist entity and Hamas, mediated by Qatar, Egypt and the United States, took place in Doha, boosting hopes that a truce could be reached. However, the two sides soon traded accusations of delaying an agreement.

Several rounds of negotiations have failed to reach a truce since the outbreak of the war in Gaza in October 2023, with the exception of a single time in late November of the same year, which has already been mentioned.

Netanyahu faces criticism and accusations of procrastination at house, especially from the families of the hostages. While the negotiations face many challenges, the main point of divergence remains the establishment of a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
