Tehran-Saba:
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei condemned the US description of the Yemeni people as terrorists, considering that such actions further weaken the rule of law in international relations.
Mehr News Agency reported that Baghaei condemned the actions of the US State Department in classifying the Yemeni people and placing the name of the Yemeni Ansar Allah group on the so-called foreign terrorist list, stressing that it is a pretext to impose inhumane sanctions on the Yemeni nation, which is an unjustified and baseless measure, and an act that violates international law.
The Iranian spokesman recalled the honorable solidarity of the Yemeni people with the oppressed Palestinian people against the occupation and genocide of the Zionist entity, describing the US State Department's action in labeling the Yemeni people as consistent with the support of the previous US government in its participation and complicity in the killing and genocide of the Palestinian people for 15 months in Gaza.
Baqaei stressed that such arbitrary and baseless unilateral measures would further weaken the rule of law in international relations and threaten regional peace and stability.
