Ceremony honoring students of first batch of graduates of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at University of Sana'a

Sana'a - Saba:

A ceremony was held in Sanaa, honoring graduates of the first batch of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sana'a, 'Al-Aqsa Flood Batch', which numbered 26 students.

The Minister of Agriculture, Fish Resources and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Ribai, congratulated the graduates on their academic efforts, praising the college’s role in qualifying competencies that contribute to the development of livestock and achieving self-sufficiency. He stressed the importance of the college as an economic tributary that is directly related to livestock through research and field studies.

For his part, the dean of the college, Dr. Abdel-Raouf Al-Shawkani, expressed his pride in this achievement, stressing the development of academic programs to qualify specialized graduates who support the livestock sector as one of the sources of food security.

The ceremony included honoring the graduates with appreciation certificates, with the first five veterinary bags given to encourage them to continue scientific excellence.
