The cognitive war launched by Israel worldwide aims to delude the world into thinking that the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance has been defeated and the occupier has won, speaker for the Islamic Consultative Assembly said on Monday, but today it has become clear that Hamas is still alive and vibrant, and that the resistance continues with a stronger will than before.
Tasnim International News Agency Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf as saying during the public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly that the freedom and return of the oppressed Palestinian prisoners to the embrace of their families came as a result of the unity and solidarity of the people of Gaza with the path of resistance in confronting the plan to exterminate the Palestinian people and forcibly displace them.
He added that the criminal occupiers may be able to destroy homes, schools and hospitals with huge American bombs, but they will never be able to break the will of the people or extinguish the flame of resistance in the hearts of the Palestinians.
The head of the council stated that the cognitive war waged by the Zionist enemy worldwide sought to portray the defeat of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, but reality has proven that Hamas is still strong and steadfast, and that the resistance continues with stronger determination than before, leading to the humiliation of the enemy.
He added that this steadfastness, which has continued for more than 15 months in the face of the genocide committed by the racist Israeli entity, will be completed, Allah willing, with the complete withdrawal of the Zionists from the Gaza Strip and the return of the displaced to their homes.
At the end of his speech, Qalibaf paid tribute to the souls of the martyrs, including Ismail Haniyah, Yahiya Sinwar, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, and all the mujahideen who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the holy battle against the most dangerous enemy of humanity, the Zionist entity.
