The eyes of African football fans are directed, this Monday evening, towards the Moroccan capital Rabat, which hosts the draw ceremony for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to Agence France-Presse, the Confederation of African Football described this event as "a symbolic starting point for the competition", and "a comprehensive guide on what fans can expect from the 35th edition of this legendary competition."
Morocco will host the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, with the participation of 24 teams from the African continent.
The 24 participating teams will be distributed into four levels, each of which includes six teams, to ultimately result in six groups of four teams, with the first and second from each group qualifying for the round of 16, followed by the four best teams in the first round
