Gaza - Saba:
The government media office in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, the entry of a limited amount of cooking gas into the Gaza and North governorates, for the first time since the beginning of the war of extermination launched by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Strip.
The office said in a statement today: The entire quantity will be distributed to citizens, according to the database of the electronic system supervised by the General Petroleum Corporation, as is the case in the governorates of central and southern Gaza, through distributors with a filling weight of eight kilograms at a price of 55 shekels.
It pointed out that dealing with the filling will be through the distributor who was identified in the system upon registration, and a message will be sent to citizens' mobile phones.
Since October 7, 2023, with the beginning of the genocidal war on the Strip, which lasted 15 months, the Zionist enemy authorities have prevented the entry of fuel and cooking gas into the Gaza and North governorates, which prompted the residents to rely on firewood for cooking food.
Reliance on wood burning has led to increased rates of instantaneous air pollution, exacerbating health risks, especially for children and the elderly, exposing them to serious respiratory diseases.
