Activists on social media circulated video clips showing smoke rising from the governorate building. According to the Russia Today website
They spoke earlier today that "the Israeli occupation army continues to bulldoze the lands it penetrated in the Quneitra countryside," indicating that "the Israeli occupation continues to bulldoze the forest trees in the Jabata al-Khashab Nature Reserve in Quneitra."
It is noteworthy that yesterday, Wednesday, the occupation army bulldozed forest trees near the town of Jabata al-Khashab, amidst continuing civil demands to stop Israeli violations in the area.
On Tuesday, residents of the Quneitra and Daraa countryside held a protest in the center of Quneitra Governorate, taking advantage of the presence of a UN delegation in the area, where the protesters demanded that the UN delegation "work to remove the Israeli occupation from their lands."
