Hodeida holds event commemorating martyr leader on Quranic project anniversary

Hodeida – Saba:

A commemorative event was held on Saturday in Hodeida city at the Martyr Leader Hall to mark the anniversary of the martyr Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, known for his role in launching the Quranic project.

Organized by the Hodeida security department, the event was attended by Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad and various local leaders, including the province's first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri.

Al-Bishri highlighted the martyr leader’s pivotal role in awakening the nation and challenging Western and Zionist agendas, emphasizing his call to confront arrogance and tyranny.

He also recalled the significant moments of the martyr leader’s life and his efforts to counter the subjugation of Muslim peoples.

Lieutenant Colonel Bassam al-La'i, representing the security department, stressed the importance of the Quranic project initiated by the martyr leader as the first step in resisting the global Zionist project.

He praised the leader’s faith and dedication to the Quran as a guide for restoring the nation’s pride.

Sheikh Ali Somal, head of the Scholars and Educators Unit, also spoke about the martyr leader’s courageous stand against global oppression and his effort to reconnect the nation with the teachings of the Quran.

The event, attended by Major General Aziz al-Jaradi, the security director of the province, also featured poems, performances, and a visit to the martyr leader's exhibition, showcasing his legacy and contributions.
