Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja'alah on Saturday visited al-Ihsan Home for the elderly in the capital Sana'a.
During the visit, Minister Baja'alah, accompanied by Assistant Undersecretary for the Social Welfare Sector Yasser Sharaf al-Din, was briefed on the home's operations and services provided to its 110 residents.
He also listened to the needs of the residents and directed the ministry to enhance care programs and coordinate with the care sector to improve services for the elderly.
The Minister praised the home's level of care and stressed the government's commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
He emphasized that al-Ihsan Home serves as a model for providing comprehensive care for the elderly, encompassing shelter, health, and nutrition.
