The Traffic Department of Al Mahwit province inaugurated on Saturday the demarcation and numbering of motorcycles as part of efforts to regulate traffic.
At the inauguration, the Assistant Director of Security in the province, Colonel Mohammed Al-Hajj, stressed that this process comes within the construction and development plan that aims to expand the points of providing services to citizens and facilitate procedures away from traditional methods in order to enhance traffic safety and organize traffic.
The director of the traffic police in the province, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Nuwaira, emphasized the keenness to simplify procedures and provide services to citizens, in order to facilitate their traffic transactions.
He pointed out that the traffic police continues to develop its systems and modernize its mechanisms, in line with the needs of citizens, stressing the importance of joint cooperation between the concerned authorities and the community to achieve better traffic flow.
