Washington - Saba:
At least seven people were killed in an ambulance plane crash near a shopping mall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance said in a statement last night that its plane was carrying six people, including four crew members, a sick child and his mother who came to the United States for treatment.

In turn, the office of Philadelphia Mayor Cheryl Parker stated that "the plane crashed after remaining (in hovering position) for one minute in the air."

The statement confirmed that several people were injured at the crash site and were transferred to hospitals near the accident site. It stressed that there were no survivors from the ambulance plane crash.

In a press conference, Parker reported the death of a seventh person at the crash site, as he was found dead inside a car at the scene of the accident.

She explained that at least 19 people were injured in the plane crash, with the possibility of the number of injuries increasing.

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the six people on board the ill-fated plane were its citizens.
