Amman - Saba:
Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon reiterated her country's rejection of calls for the forced displacement of Palestinians, describing this as a violation of humanitarian and international law, saying, "We reject the forced displacement of Palestinians and any illegal attempts to settle or annex the West Bank."
She made the remarks at a joint press conference on Sunday with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
On UNRWA and its role, she explained that it should not be dispensed with and that more humanitarian aid must enter Gaza, especially in light of the difficult conditions that the Gazans live in, pointing to the establishment of the Group of Friends of UNRWA to help the organization in its work.
She emphasized that her country has been speaking loudly regarding the war on Gaza and the subsequent killing and displacement of thousands of Palestinians, in addition to the great violation of humanitarian and international law.
