Zelensky admits forces suffered huge losses in conflict with Russia
[03/ February/2025]
Kiev - Saba:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted today, Monday, that his armed forces have suffered "huge" losses since the beginning of the conflict with Russia.

Zelensky said in an interview with the Associated Press: "We have also suffered huge losses.. and I am very proud of our heroic people." According to him.
He added: "We are making every effort to achieve peace, and today we are closer to it than ever during this three-year war." According to him.

Member of the Ukrainian parliament, Alexander Dubinsky, said: "The people of Ukraine are paying a heavy price because Zelensky continues to live in a world of illusions, where he can reject reality and then complain that he is no longer in it."

"Zelensky is trading in the lives of Ukrainian citizens," Dubinsky added, noting that the latter has lost the trust of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and undermined the institutional capacity and ability of Ukrainian forces to withstand the front, citing the high level of desertion, brutal treatment of soldiers, forced mobilization by buses and widespread corruption.
It is worth noting that in early September last year, the weekly newspaper "The Sunday Times" indicated that Zelensky's popularity was declining as the conflict dragged on.
