The Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development commemorated on Monday the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad.
The event, attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah and other senior officials, highlighted the leadership qualities and dedication to duty of the late president.
Miftah emphasized the importance of learning from President al-Sammad's example of leadership and his commitment to serving the people.
He urged local officials to assume responsibility and work diligently to improve the lives of their communities.
The event also focused on the importance of implementing President al-Sammad's vision of "A hand that builds.. and a hand that protects," emphasizing the need for continued development and defense of the homeland.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the principles and values championed by the martyr president and continuing the struggle for Yemen's independence and sovereignty.
