A meeting chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, member of the Supreme Political Bureau, discussed the conditions of public universities , ways to enhance , develop their roles in serving human , knowledge development and the requirements of the labor market.
The meeting, which included the Ministers of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi, Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Hatem Al-Dais and the presidents of public universities, reviewed the progress of the academic year 1446 AH , the mechanisms to ensure the stability of university educational, academic , research performance and the quality of outputs.
Dr. bin Habtoor praised the pioneering national role of public universities , their contribution to serving society , the requirements of economic and social development.
He praised the great and remarkable efforts of the presidents of public universities throughout the years of aggression and siege in conducting the academic and educational process.
He pointed out that the supreme leadership views with gratitude the efforts of university leaders , academic, administrative , technical cadres and their steadfastness during the current exceptional circumstances, stressing the keenness to strengthen the factors , components of stability and the process of developing the performance of public universities , implementing their development projects and programs.
