London - Saba:
French center-back Axel Disasi has moved from Chelsea, fourth in the English Premier League, to his compatriot Aston Villa, eighth in the English Premier League, on loan, the two clubs said Tuesday.
Disasi (26 years old) hopes to get a greater chance to play with Aston Villa, who qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League and is one of the most active English clubs in the winter transfer market.
The former Monaco defender has only played in six league matches for Italian coach Enzo Maresca's team this season, but he has been relied upon primarily in the squad that competes in the Conference League.
Aston Villa also signed Spanish winger Marco Asensio from Paris Saint-Germain on loan until the end of the season.
Asensio will participate with international striker Marcus Rashford, who came to revive his career after his decline in form at Manchester United and his exclusion from the squad by Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim.
Villa also signed Dutchman Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund.
