A meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah discussed on Tuesday mechanisms for enhancing and developing medical services provided by the Republican Teaching Hospital in the capital Sana'a for the poor and needy.
The meeting reviewed the current status of the hospital's services and discussed ways to improve them, including: expanding free medical services, exploring ways to expand free medical services to a wider range of patients, developing an integrated health system, establishing an integrated health system across all government hospitals to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for all citizens and strengthening partnerships, enhancing partnerships with the Zakat Authority and other entities to support the provision of free medical services.
The meeting emphasized the importance of improving the overall quality of healthcare services in Yemen and reducing the need for citizens to seek medical treatment abroad.
