The US Agency for International Development (USAID) announced today that it will place most of its employees around the world on administrative leave starting next Friday, in conjunction with the temporary suspension of most of the programs it runs.
According to the announcement and the email sent to employees, the vast majority of supervisory employees will return to the United States within days.
