The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit on Wednesday launched a community initiative to construct al-Sharif - Wadi La'ah - Bani al-Awam Road in Mahweet province.
The project aims to improve connectivity between the provinces of Hajjah and Mahweet and facilitate the movement of citizens.
The launch event was attended by local officials and representatives of the beneficiary communities.
The unit's representative in the province emphasized the importance of community participation in supporting state-led development efforts.
The head of the Beneficiaries Committee highlighted the significance of this road project in connecting villages and districts, improving access to basic services, and alleviating the challenges faced by local communities.
