US President Donald Trump said his administration prefers to reach a deal with Iran on non-nuclear issues.
He added in an interview with the American newspaper "New York Post" last night, threatening in a veiled way that "if a deal is reached, Israel will not bomb them."
However, the US president refused to reveal the details of any negotiations with Iran, saying: "In fact, I don't like to tell you what I'm going to tell them, as you know, it's not nice to do that."
Trump continued, "I will tell them that I will make a deal," adding: "I will not bomb them."
