Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor on Monday extended heartfelt condolences following the death of sports captain Fahd Saleh al-Khameri, who passed away after a distinguished sports career.
In a message sent to al-Khamri family, the cultural community in Aden, and the Yemeni sports movement, Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the late al-Khameri for his significant contributions to basketball and volleyball.
He highlighted al-Khameri’s participation in various Arab and international sports championships as a member of Yemen's national teams, noting his remarkable presence and achievements in both sports.
Dr. Bin Habtoor conveyed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and the wider community, praying for God's mercy on the deceased and comfort for his loved ones. "To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return," he said.
