The seven-day campaign, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, is part of an emergency response by the ministry and its office in the province in response to appeals by livestock farmers to protect their livestock from death.
The director of animal health and epidemiological surveillance in the province, Faris Al-Ayani, and the livestock officer at Bunyan Foundation, Ayman Al-Ghabari, explained that the campaign is implemented through specialized veterinary teams, and is accompanied by an awareness and guidance aspect on methods and healthy practices in raising , caring for livestock, and preventing them from diseases, while taking the necessary preventive measures.
