The Russian military announced on Monday that the Ukrainian armed forces have suffered losses during the past 24 hours, estimated at 380 soldiers, in addition to a number of armored and combat vehicles in the border area of the Russian province of Kursk.
The Russian military said in a statement that Ukraine's total losses since the start of its attack on the Kursk region on August 6 have reached about 59,250 soldiers, as well as hundreds of tanks, armored vehicles, cannons, rocket launchers and air defense systems.
Ukrainian forces launched a surprise attack in August on the Russian border region of Kursk and are still holding positions in some parts of it.
