A large rally was held in Sana’a to commemorate the 2015 expulsion of U.S. Marines from Yemen. Participants gathered near the former U.S. embassy, chanting anti-American and pro-Palestinian slogans while carrying Yemeni and Palestinian flags.
Speakers emphasized that the September 21, 2014, Revolution led to Yemen’s liberation from U.S. control, including the Marines' withdrawal. The rally also praised Yemen’s military actions supporting Palestine, such as the naval blockade on Israel and strikes in solidarity with Gaza.
A statement issued at the event reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to resisting U.S. and Israeli influence and supporting Palestine until full liberation.
